Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of rankmate, a marketplace that helps players find API-verified teammates for League of Legends, Valorant, and Counter-Strike 2, including optional paid sessions settled in platform coins.

1. Eligibility (18+)

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, book paid sessions, sell sessions, or use marketplace features. By registering you attest that you meet this requirement. We may suspend accounts that fail age attestation or provide false information.

2. Marketplace role

rankmate provides software that connects buyers and sellers. Except where we expressly process coin pack purchases or seller withdrawals through Stripe, we are not a party to the gameplay session itself. Sellers set their own rates and availability; buyers choose whom to book. You are responsible for complying with game publisher terms of service and applicable law.

3. Coin terms

• Exchange rate. 100 coins = $1 USD for display and pack pricing.
• Purchased coins. Bought via coin packs. They are spendable on bookings, non-refundable, non-withdrawable, and non-transferable between users.
• Earned coins. Credited to sellers after verified paid sessions (subject to hold and dispute rules). Spendable and withdrawable subject to fees and KYC.
• Withdrawal fee. Platform fee of 10% (base; level tiers may reduce the fee) applied at withdrawal only. Minimum withdrawal: 2,000 earned coins.
• Chargebacks. A successful chargeback or payment dispute on a pack purchase may reverse coin grants, leave a negative balance, and result in suspension until resolved.
• Expiry. In v1, unspent coins do not expire. We may change this with notice for future versions.

4. Cancellation, no-show, and disputes

• Sellers have 24 hours to accept or decline a booking request before it times out.
• Buyer cancellation is free if made at least 12 hours before session start; later cancellations refund approximately 50% of the session price to the buyer (per product policy).
• Buyer no-show confirmation is available after a 15-minute grace period from session start.
• After a session completes, coin holds release to the seller's earned balance after 24 hours unless disputed.
• Disputes that can claw back released earned balance must be raised within 72 hours after hold release (admin-resolved thereafter as applicable).
• Sellers may receive strikes for policy violations; 3 strikes may lead to suspension from selling.

Exact outcomes for refunds, partial refunds, and payouts follow the booking state machine and admin tools. Automated match verification informs decisions but does not replace human review in disputed cases.

5. Evidence and communications

Booking chat, lobby messages, verification signals (e.g. match participation flags), and state history may be retained and reviewed to operate the marketplace, resolve disputes, and enforce these Terms. Do not share passwords, account credentials, or unlawful content.

6. Ban and block policy

You may block other users; blocked parties are excluded from directory, booking, and recommendation surfaces for that relationship. We may ban or suspend accounts for fraud, abuse, chargebacks, harassment, evasion of enforcement, or other material breaches. Banned users must not create replacement accounts to circumvent enforcement.

7. AI-assisted features

rankmate may offer AI-assisted teammate recommendations, admin evidence briefs, and seller bio drafts. These features summarize or paraphrase structured product data and must not invent ranks or stats. Humans remain responsible for listings, booking decisions, and admin resolutions— AI output is advisory only and never auto-resolves disputes or reports, and never auto-publishes a seller bio.

rankmate is not endorsed by or affiliated with Riot Games, Valve Corporation, FACEIT, or their affiliates. All game names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
